It has been way too long since I blogged! That’s what happens when I write a lot so I guess that’s a good thing.

The first half of this year has gone by way too fast! I released the fourth Devil Series novel, The Devil, plus the third in the Original Series, Saving Eden. This summer I will have at least three new releases.

The prequel to the Devil Series, Charlie’s story, titled What Devil’s May Come will be released in the Potions and Poisons Box Set in July. Also in July, I will release A Hero’s Death, the first novel in the Aris Crow Vampire Legend series. I really hope readers enjoy this series! It’s been a pet project of mine for a long time!!

I hope to update my blog soon with what’s going on in my life besides all this boring writing stuff, but until then, I hope you are all well!

I’ve lived beneath the streets all my life while a growing darkness overtook the city I love. I’ve watched the people suffer, I’ve smelled their fear, and heard their cries for mercy. All under the control of the man who murdered my parents.

The police have failed them. The justice system has failed them.

It’s my turn now.

The city doesn’t need another hero. They need a monster.

Two hundred years after the cataclysm that annihilated fossil fuels, Sparks keep electricity flowing through their control of energy-giving Dust. The Council of Nine rebuilt civilization on the backs of Sparks, offering citizens a comfortable life in a relo-city in exchange for power, particularly over the children able to fuel the future. The strongest of the boys are taken as Wards and raised to become elite agents, the Council’s enforcers and spies. Strong girls–those who could advance the rapidly evolving matrilineal power–don’t exist. Not according to the Council.

Lena Gracey died as a child, mourned publicly by parents desperate to keep her from the Council. She was raised in hiding until she fled the relo-city for solitary freedom in the desert. Lena lives off the grid, selling her power on the black market.

Agent Alex Reyes was honed into a calculating weapon at the Ward School to do the Council’s dirty work. But Alex lives a double life. He’s leading the next generation of agents in a secret revolution to destroy those in power from within.

The life Lena built to escape her past ends the day Alex arrives looking for a renegade Spark.

Best outdoor rabbit hutch: How large should the rabbit hutch with run be?

In the wild, rabbits have the large area for running, playing and foraging for food. Domesticated rabbits also should be provided an area of exercise to keep fit, stay healthy, use litter for rabbit with odor control, as well as being entertained.

This is why many rabbit owners prefer to get the outdoor rabbit hutch with run for your pets. But not all of them know exactly how big hutch should be. There are even some hutches sold out there are labelled as “large” but the true is they are not big enough.

#1 How big should a hutch and run be?

There is not the exactly size for the rabbit hutch since rabbits come with many different sizes and breeds.  The sizes of hutch also depend on the number of rabbits you are keeping and the space you have available.

However, it is the basic recipe that one to two medium sized rabbits will need hutch space of at least 1 square metre, equivalent to 6ft x 2ft x 2ft hutch, and a run area of at least 2.5 square metres, equivalent to 8ft x 4ft x 4ft run. The longest stretch of the hutch should at least be able to accommodate two rabbits lying down sequentially.

Remember that, these are just minimum measurements, and it is better If you can provide more space than this. It is also important to allow your rabbits access their run whenever they want to.

#2 What if these hutch measurements are too large?

If you have a tiny yard of garden and the ideal size of best outdoor rabbit hutch with run is too large or take almost your garden space, then you have another choice. There are lots of hutch designs out there, and to save the space while provide your pets a comfortable cage, you should choose the multiple levels hutch. The hutch with the run part is place under the enclosure and these two are linked by a ramp is ideally for your situation.

Wow! I can’t believe it’s 2017! I have so many fun projects this year! The first is to complete Saving Eden, book three in the Original Trilogy. Also, at some point during the year, I’ll write a prequel to the Devil’s Series, titled What Devil’s May Come: Charlie’s Story. I’ve had so many fans ask about him that I just have to share the story of his first love.

Finally, I will begin a new series: Titus Crow, the Last Vampire. I’ve been waiting over a year to begin this project! Super exciting!

The real reason for my post today is to introduce a really good book titled Aspen Everlasting. I’m the first stop on this book’s blog tour. If you get a chance, read this book!

Aspen Foster thinks she’s just a normal sixteen-year-old, but when her car’s caught in a flash flood, Aspen and her sister discover the superhuman strength they never knew they had.

Soon Aspen learns she’s not normal at all. She’s an Evermortal, with powers beyond her wildest dreams. But the more Aspen finds out about her family’s past, the more dangerous her future becomes.

This riveting fantasy is full of action, adventure, and romance. Suspenseful and exhilarating!

My Review

What a great novel from a new author! I love discovering these little gems because I know the authors have a great career ahead of them. This book had many endearing qualities. The first is the humor. There were many places I laughed out loud. The second is the amazing relationships she had with everyone around her: Nate, her parents, and especially her siblings. These believable relationships made me connect with Aspen. I found myself experiencing the same emotions with her as she uncovered the many secrets hidden in her life.

I highly recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys reading young adult, light paranormal novels. Grab your copy today!

Before I begin, let me set the stage:

My daughter woke up the other morning complaining of a tummy ache. Because of previous health issues, this isn’t uncommon for her. To help, I decided to send a Sprite in her lunch in case it persisted. This is the first time I’ve ever sent her to school with a soda.

At lunch time, she raised her hand to ask for help in opening the can. The teacher looked at it, then asked, “Who packed your lunch?” Daughter says, “My mom.” The teacher paused, then said, “You need to tell your mom that you need something healthier. And don’t ever bring soda to school again.” I’d expect if my child asked their teacher for physic homework help, but not the teacher shouting at her about packed lunch. I don’t have time to argue with my daughters teachers when I’m juggling so many different things, I’m only just surviving thanks to Blue Apron and collegepaperworld!

Now this comment comes on the heals of another comment made by a woman standing in front of my friend at the grocery store. Woman says, “Do you have any snacks without sugar in it?” Clerk laughs. “Impossible.” Woman says, “My school doesn’t allow any snacks with sugar. I sent my kid with a granola bar to school, but the teacher sent a note home saying that it had chocolate chips in it. If my kid does this again, she’ll get a ticket. If she gets three, she misses recess.”

What is going on? Does this seem extreme to anyone else? As parents can’t we decide what our child eats?

That being said, I get that not all parents teach their kids to eat healthy and as a result we have childhood obesity, which causes all sorts of health issues. I have no problem with banning vending machines in schools. They probably shouldn’t have been there in the first place. If they were there when I was in junior high, I probably would’ve blown all of my meager allowance on candy.

I think schools should teach healthy choices and then the community should promote a healthy lifestyle by offering free classes and training to parents. And I think parents should have the right to send their child to school with a chocolate chip cookie. Or a soda. Or a big, fat Ho Ho.

In our home I teach we eat to live, not we live to eat. As much as I joke about eating, I do try to teach our kids to eat healthy. That doesn’t mean we don’t have the occasional treat or soda. Everything in moderation.

What’s your opinion? Are your children’s schools much different?

Any readers outside of the United States? I’d love to know how this is handled elsewhere.

#1 A metal curry comb vs a runner curry comb

They are both curry comb but being used differently. A rubber curry comb removes dirt, debris, and loose hair from the horse’s coat. It is brush in a circular manner.

On the other hands, a metal curry brush used to brush in the direction the hair is growing. You also can use metal curry comb to cleans the body brush. It should not be use on the sensitive areas of horse’s body such as legs or face.

#2 What is the best kind of mane comb?

We recommend that you should choose pin-type brush, with smooth, rounded plastic pins set into a flexible rubber surface to brush the horse’s mane. It is ideal to get the mane comb that has widely spaced, sturdy teeth. The Wider-spaced teeth will be gentler on hairs.

#3 What is the best hoof pick?

There are many different choice of hoof pick but the choice is easier than choosing a brush. The hoof pick will come with a hooked metal but you should get the hoof pick also includes a brush on other side.

A hoof pick use to get rid of dirt and stones that trapped under the horse’s hooves, therefor it should be made solid galvanized metal, what make it durable even sterilized with boiling water. Do not choose the hoof picks that are excessively sharp.
